The Upper West Students Union of the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies earlier today the 19th of June, 2021 engaged in blood donation exercise.
According to the President of the Union Mr. Iddrisu Hafiz, the mind set behind this is to bridge the gap of blood shortage in hospitals within the region. It has become troubling of people searching for blood and not getting since Preparation has not been successful made to reach the donors on time.
The Health workers expressed their happiness to the Leadership of the Union for thinking of people in unhealthy conditions and pray for God Guidance to making them future leaders in the continue discharge of their Leadership Prowess.
At the end of the day out of the 29 people who did partook in the testing. 25 people actually donated to save lives that are always dear to ours as life is precious.
The Health workers however promised to issue blood groups of participants in today’s donation latest by Monday and the supply of Donor cards in a jiffy.
It was exciting, enthusiasm, sacrifices, rewarding how committed people were in donating blood to save several lives.
The workaholic Vice President Mr. Abudu Abdul-Wasiu, The Loyal General Secretary Mr. Dery Cletus, The Deputy Gen. Secretary Mr. Tungbani Francis Xavier, the active Financial Controller Mr. Yussif Tofic, The Legendary Organizer Mr. Razak Awillow and the Indefatigable Ladies Commissioner Madam Gertrude Bogonluri were present to make this successful.
They expressed their excitement for the overwhelming participation.
