The SCHOOL STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (SRC) week celebration is an exciting time for students to come together and showcase their creativity. With only weeks left, our school SRC has been working hard to plan an extraordinary week of events.

We have a range of activities planned that will cater to the various interests of our student body. There will be an opening ceremony with speeches from our SRC leaders, followed by sports tournaments, cultural performances, fashion shows, and a talent competition.

We hope to see all our students actively participating in the week’s events and supporting each other. We are confident that the SRC Week will unite our school community and leave lasting memories for all.

According to Eliot Wigginton, “The strength of the student voice is the key to student council success” (Wigginton, 1990). The school SRC week is a perfect example of how student voices can be heard and can make a difference in the school community. It allows students to take the lead and showcase their skills and talents. As stated by Darlene A. Anderson, “Effective student leadership involves creating and sustaining a school culture and climate that promotes academic success for every student” (Anderson, 2012). We hope that the upcoming SRC week will not only bring enjoyment and excitement but also foster a positive and supportive school environment.
